What are KYC and AML requirements?

To comply with international KYC and AML regulations you will be required to provide a picture of your identity document (ID, Passport or Drivers License).

How much time does it take to complete transaction?

The purchase process from beginning to end should not take longer than 5-10 minutes for you to complete.

Should I pay with a debit or credit card?

Debit cards have a higher chance of being accepted.

What is your commission fee?

On credit and debit card purchases CryptoFish charges a flat 5% fee and an additional 5% is charged by Simplex, who is our payment provider.

What is Bitcoin?

Bitcoin is a form of digital currency which is based on an open source code that is created and held electronically. Bitcoin is the first form of decentralized digital currency, meaning that it does not belong to any form of government, is without middlemen and not controlled by anyone. Click here to learn more.

How long does it take CryptoFish to send me my Cryptocurrency once I have paid?

No need to wait! CryptoFish sends your Cryptocurrency to you immediately after your payment and wallet address is confirmed. The time taken for you to receive the Cryptocurrency once it has been sent will vary depending on which Cryptocurrency and how busy the network is at the time.

Can I use a credit card or a debit card?

Yes, CryptoFish accepts any VISA or MASTERCARD Credit or Debit Cards.

What are the purchase limits?

Our purchase limits with a Credit or Debit card are USD 5000 per transaction, USD 20,000 per day and USD 50,000 per month.

Which Cryptocurrencies do you sell?

We currently sell Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple and are working on adding additional Cryptocurrencies. Watch this space!

Where can I get a Cryptocurrency wallet?

You can get started by downloading a wallet by clicking here.

How do I track the payment of the Bitcoin to my wallet?

You can log onto a publicly available “Blockchain Explorer” such as Blockchain.info and insert your wallet address that you provided us to send the coins to, it will show the transaction details and confirm whether or not the coins have been sent/received. In which Countries are your services available?

We’ve got you covered! CryptoFish provides services to over 180 countries and territories. See list of countries here. If your Country or State is not listed, then check back with us regularly. We are in the process of opening up several more. It is your responsibility to follow the laws and regulations in your country of residence or the country where you are accessing this site.

Does CryptoFish store my credit or debit card details?

No your Credit Card and Debit Card details are never stored on our systems.

How can I verify my account?

After Signing up on CryptoFish you will be sent an email by us asking you to click on a link to verify your email address. In some cases you may need to check your spam folder in case it ends up there instead of your inbox.

Why must I provide my personal details?

CryptoFish is committed to the highest security and privacy standards. We do need to know a bit about you before a purchase. This will help us keep your account safe and fight fraud. Everyone must go through verification before buying Cryptocurrency anywhere. Once we have received everything and it all looks good we usually approve very quickly.

Why is there a charge on my bank statement but I have not received my Cryptocurrency yet?

If your payment hasn’t been approved yet, the charge you see on your account is only an authorization check. It will only be processed and final once the payment has been approved in full. If the payment is declined, the charge will automatically be voided within 24-48 hours or in-line with your own bank’s policy.

What Fiat currencies does CryptoFish accept as payment method?

We accept all currencies including your local one, our pricing on the site is displayed in USD and EUR for now, however we do have plans to add more display currencies in the near future.

Can I sell Cryptocurrencies on CryptoFish?

Although we do plan to implement this feature in the near future, for now we only sell Cryptocurrencies.

How do I buy Bitcoin or Ethereum with my Credit or Debit Card?

  1. Sign up if you haven't already got an account with CryptoFish or else Log in before proceeding.
  2. Choose the Cryptocurrency you wish to purchase. Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash or Ripple.
  3. Choose how much you want to purchase by either entering the amount directly into the field box that allows you to enter quantity or by clicking on one of the preset amounts (e.g. USD 50, 100, ...500)
  4. Click on BUY.
  5. Enter your Wallet Address where you would like to receive the Coins and double check your amount chosen.
  6. Click CONTINUE.
  7. On the next Page fill in your Personal Details and Billing Address, read the Terms and Conditions and tick the box.
  8. Click CONTINUE
  9. A verification code will be sent to your Mobile number you provided and another to your email address you provided. You will be promoted to enter the code received via SMS to verify your mobile number. Please check your email inbox for an email from Simplex to verify your email address, you will need to click on the link in the email to complete the email verification.
  10. Click Continue.
  11. Enter your Payment Information, this includes: Name, Last Name, Card Number, Expiration Date and Security Code (found at the back of your card). Please also check your order summary on the right of the screen.
  12. Click PAY NOW.
  13. On the next page you will be asked to Enter your details for verification of Identity purposes. You will need to upload a copy of your Passport or Identity Card or Drivers license.
  14. Click UPLOAD
  15. You may then be asked to enter secure pass code from your bank.
  16. You will be redirected to the final page where you will be notified that your payment is being processed.
