Research firm Great Place to Work (GPTW) conducted a survey across the greater San Francisco Bay area recently. Results were astounding -payment startup Ripple (XRP) has been ranked as the 17th top employer in the area.
GPTW conducted an anonymous survey of over 30,000 Bay Area employees, who responded to more than 60 questions. Aspects covered in the poll included things like employees’ trust, reaching their full potential as part of their company, their daily experience, company’s value, as well as the effectiveness of leaders. The results were then used to compile the 2019 Best Workplaces in the Bay Area.
When interviewed, 91% of employees working at XRP said that they loved working there, and 95% were proud of where they worked.
XRP is an employer that puts its team first, which has proven to pay off for them with as many as 97% of those surveyed saying that they are willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. 96% felt they were fairly treated with time off and nearly all the staff felt welcome and appreciated by the company.
XRP was the only crypto company on the list of 35 companies that took part in the survey. In order to be part of the survey and list, companies have to be open to allowing GPTW researchers to observe the workplace and have to meet certain requirements of the research company.
It was an honor for XRP to stand alongside financial giants such as KPMG, Deloitte, conglomerate Cisco and software company Adobe.
Japanese financial services giant SBI Holding’s, Yoshitaka Kitao, CEO and representative director believes that Ripple is one of two blockchain companies that hold optimism for the industry.
